On Monday September 19, 2016 Jonathan Hodel and Kendall Knapp successfully passed the UAG (Unmanned Aircraft Exam) as part of the (14CFR) part 107 requirements for becoming certified as sUAS remote pilots to operate drones for commercial use. The final step involved in the application process include a background check from the FAA. Once the application process is completed Cloudpoint Geographics will be able to perform commercial sUAS operations with internal staff.
