2021 (like the previous year) brought plenty of projects, growth, and headaches for Cloudpoint. Notably was the ever-increasing scope and reach of the company. As Cloudpoint pushes its capabilities and looks to expand its area of business, more—and better—marketing becomes essential.

So, as our Business Development Specialist Bill Steele, though mighty he may be, began to get stretched thin between sales and marketing, a search for help began. Thankfully, we were able to find someone close-to-home, and we could not be happier.

Meet Sahara:

She received a Bachelor of Science in Communication (focus Organizational and Leadership) in 2021 from Illinois State University in Normal, IL.
She previously worked as the office assistant for the Philosophy department at DePaul University in Chicago and as a Management Intern at Menards. She is new to the GIS world.
She spent her senior year of high school in Germany as an exchange student, living with a host family and speaking only German for 11 months.

She enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and fishing, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending quality time with her fiancé and family.
She is excited to learn more about GIS technology and to be part of such a wonderful team!
