The past couple months have brought a number of new clients to the Cloudpoint roster. Being born and raised in central Illinois means that most of our clientele resides in the Prairie State, however if the past couple of years has taught us anything, it is the ease and ubiquity of doing work remotely. To that end, Cloudpoint has been pushing the envelope (sometimes literally with our marketing letters) when looking for GIS work across the country. With that, rewards have followed, say hello to some of our newest clients:
ZION, IL
Zion, IL, while yes still in Illinois, is just about as far north as you can possibly get in the state. Sitting on the border to Wisconsin, they were looking for help reconfiguring their ArcGIS Online account. They had years of data, but outdated workflows and integrations needed a boost so they could better visualize and interact with their GIS
ONALASKA, WI
Onalaska, WI had a common problem: emails containing data that needed to become features in a ArcGIS Online web map. To solve this problem, a workflow combining Microsoft's Power Automate and OneDrive with Python and ArcGIS Online was created to read emails and create polygons in a web map for field staff. The automation workflow converting content of Digger’s Hotline emails to GIS features will be invaluable to the city staff."
GRAIN VALLEY, MO
Grain Valley, MO came through a referral. A eastern suburb of Kansas City, the city has a new dedicated GIS staff but loads of backlogged work. Our affordable blocks of consulting hours were the perfect fit, and work is already underway getting their GIS in tip-top shape.
SANTA MONICA, CA
And last, but certainly not least, all the way out on the sunny shores of Santa Monica, CA, Cloudpoint was awarded a contract through a Request for Proposal for general GIS services help. Unfortunately, the request did not ask for an on-site visit, but strangely enough everyone in the office volunteered.
