Cloudpoint Geographics is pleased to welcome Erin Strickler to our staff! Erin is a 2003 graduate of Bradley University's civil engineering program and earned her professional engineer's license in April of 2017. She comes with a strong background in engineering, surveying, and local governments and an emphasis in transportation. At one point Erin worked part time for Cloudpoint's founder Jon Hodel, while serving at Woodford County where she was active in creating and managing GIS layers for infrastructure assets including sign inventories. In her previous positions, Erin worked extensively with AutoCAD Civil 3D and brings over seven years of experience in site development, transportation, and hydrologic and hydraulic engineering. Her previous projects include traffic and intersection design studies, sanitary sewer, watermain, and storm sewer design, flood studies, and bridge scour analyses.
At Cloudpoint, Erin will be filling the role of project engineer as she hits the ground running with ArcGIS Pro on projects involving transportation infrastructure and asset inventories. She is excited to be returning to the geospatial field with a solid understanding of infrastructure design and is looking forward to using that knowledge to help our clients in their decision-making processes. Erin is a big fan of her husband, her kids, and the Cubs.
